Desc : A billionaire falls in love with a poor girl. Complications arise when he is diagnosed witha rare heart condition called ‘anaesthesia awareness’. Even though his body is paralysed, he is able to understand all that goes around him. Directed by Shekhar Suman, the film is a tribute to his eldest son Aayush who had passed away due to an incurable heart disease. The film stars Adhyayan Suman, Shekhar Suman’s son in the lead opposite Ariana Ayam. The star cast also boasts of critically acclaimed actors such as Om Puri and Deepti Naval. Shekhar Suman comes up with his own adaptation of the Hollywood flick ‘Awake’ that was medical thriller. Though not a very praise-worthy attempt, the film has its moments. It is inconsistently paced and ranks low on the thrilling quotient. The first half of the film is just another run-of-the-mill love story of a rich man falling in love with a poor girl. It is only towards the second half that film starts to deal with the main theme. Most twists in the plot revolve around scientific facts that are associated with the protagonist suffering from ‘anaesthesia awareness’. The film is a sincere but shoddy effort. The fact that the audiences doesn’t seem to have much expectations from the film anyway might just garner some revenues for the film.
